The annual ceramic big slab installation Production in Italy is around 400 million sq. m, and more than 80% of it is made by the province of Modena. A third of them are large-sized tiles or in other words, tiles that have sided more than 60 centimeters. The latest hi-tech high-end products comprise ceramic slabs that measure up to 120×360 cm or 160×320 cm, and with thicknesses that range from 3 millimeters to 20 millimeters, this is a market segment which is growing
